Our Company
Ellton Longwall Pty Ltd was established in 1997 to provide project management and business development services both in Australia and internationally by founder Mark Newton.
Since then Ellton Longwall has grown to become a leading supplier of Underground Mining equipment to the Australian Longwall Mining industry. Appointed in 2000 as the exclusive supplier of Parsons Mining Chain, Ellton Longwall is the premium supplier of Longwall mining chain and service in Australia.
Our Workshop Facilities
Located in Somersby NSW, only 5 minutes from the M1 Freeway between Sydney and Newcastle, Ellton Longwall has a total of 4500 square Meters of hardstand and workshop area, purpose built to be Australia’s best chain service facility.

Project Experience
Ellton Longwall has completed 1000’s of AFC and BSL chain Assemblies and Rebuilds over its 20 year history. Completing work for all major coal mining companies in Australia including Glencore, Peabody Energy, Anglo-American, BHP Billiton, and Centennial Coal.
Ellton Longwall has also completed many unique projects, including Full ROF AFC pan lines, conveyor transfer chutes, jibs and pulley frames.

PARSONS MINING CHAIN
Founded in 1903 by Mr. Harris Parsons, Parsons Chain Company is recognised as a world leading chain manufacturer. Parsons has had a long history in Australian coal mines, exclusively distributed by Ellton Longwall Since 2000.
In 2006 Parsons UK was purchased by China Coal Group, with significant investment in production, R&D and quality control procedures in the subsequent years.
Fully implementing Quality Control administration system, PCC has obtained ISO 9001 and CCS accreditation.
Parsons produces a Range of Chain Sizes and Specifications to suit individual mining conditions up to 65mm Wire Diameter
Integrating production, R&D, selling and servicing, Parsons Chain China has developed as one of the leading industrial chain manufacturers in the world in terms of production capacity, equipment level, technology and competitive ability.
Occupying an area of 62,000m2, Parsons has 450 employees, in which 60 are technicians.
AFC/BSL FLIGHT BARS
Ellton Longwall has been supplying AFC and BSL Flight bars into the Australian Market since 2004, with in excess of 30,000 Flight bar assemblies installed since.
We work with a range of supply options to best suit each customers needs, for delivery, price and size.
Each Flight bar designed by Ellton Longwall takes careful consideration to individual mines specific requirements, Fully Finite element analysed and QA controlled throughout the entire process.
SPROCKETS, PANLINES, FORGED COMPONENTS
